Who are we?

Andrew Hunter

Andrew was raised in Carnoustie, Scotland.  After obtaining a degree in Accounting he trained with a London based firm before becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2005.  He jumped at an opportunity to hone non-UK and International tax skills based on the Isle of Man some 15 years ago, joining as he did one of the largest tax and accounting practices on the island.  The subsequent acquisition of that company later allowed Andrew to further specialise as part of the tax team within a large, island-based fiduciary.

Andrew believes that the Isle of Man offers unique opportunities for a tax-geared practice to operate and has been planning to set-up his own boutique business for some time.

‘’I have two main visions for my business: firstly, to continually improve my tax knowledge to allow me to excel and stand out in the market and secondly, to be innovative in the development of services for my clients to truly go that extra mile.  All too often tax and accounting services are formulaic and don’t offer the personal approach that I believe so many of us are looking for; tax is a worry and I would like to help to alleviate that stress.’’

Andrew is married to Juls and lives on the island with two children Eleanor, Oliver and two dogs.  All love the local Manx life and you can often find them taking a family, wind-swept walk on a beach.
